Spectrum: Cotton Candy Sky follows the quiet path of the sun across a single line of light. Against a soft pink backdrop, a programmed “sun” slowly rises and falls, shifting through deep reds, warm oranges, bright yellows and finally white at its peak, before descending back into the glow of sunset. The transitions happen almost
imperceptibly, echoing the rhythm of the day and the body’s own circadian cycle. Calm and understated, the work creates a sense of time that is felt rather than measured, a piece that brings the quiet beauty of the sky indoors.
