SHiPPiNG POLiCY.

UNFRAMED PRiNTS:

All unframed artworks will be shipped within 5 working days.   

For standard shipping, your package will be sent via Evri, DPD couriers or national postal service - with a Standard tracked delivery. All unframed prints sent by standard delivery are carefully hand packaged into a tube by our gallery team in Greenwich. (See below for further info*).  Standard shipping comes with insurance up to £50.

For premium shipping, your package will be sent via UPS, FedEX or DHL couriers with an express track and signed for service. All unframed prints sent by premium delivery are carefully hand packaged into flat pack folio by our framing workshop. (See below for further info*).  Premium shipping is fully insured.

All members of the team, both at the gallery and at the workshop are trained in the speciality of print handling.

FRAMED ARTWORKS:

All framed artworks are framed to order, which can take 4-6 weeks, and then will be shipped within 5 working days of completion.  We stock a range of pre-framed artworks at the gallery so please drop us a line if you are in a hurry and we can let you know what we have ready to ship.

Framed artworks that are bought with standard delivery will be framed with an archival perspex glazing and shipped in a cardboard box with hardboard protective cover.  Framed artworks with premium shipping will be framed with glass glazing and be delivered in a purpose built crate.  As above, standard shipping comes with insurance up to £50 and Premium Shipping is fully insured.

We personally deliver any particularly fragile pieces of artwork, like Neon’s, LED’s and large framed prints. An EDiT. Gallery Gallery driver will hand-deliver your piece. We usually do monthly delivery runs for hand delivered artworks and you will be allocated an all day slot.  Rest assured, they are experts in the safe handling of fragile packaging and artwork.

All framed pieces are first carefully enclosed in bubble wrap, then packed with hardboard or cardboard, with added foam corners for extra protection and then placed in an additional outer packaging as above. 

LARGE FRAMED PRiNTS - OVER 100CM:

**Please contact the gallery for special pricing and delivery, of any large, framed prints. Costs will vary, depending on the type and size of your artwork and your location. 

ALUMiNiUMS:

Aluminium artworks will be shipped in the same packaging as frames, standard and premium respectfully.

DELiVERY TiMES:

Our typical delivery times are within 3-5 days for unframed works and 5-10 days for framed works.

TYPiCAL DELiVERY TiME POST DiSPATCH:

Once your art has despatched from EDiT. expect the following delivery times depending on the courier and country, Subject to related delays. Your package will be sent using a tracked and signed for service and we will provide tracking details where possible.

  • UK – 1 – 2 days, via a UK courier service, normally DPD or DHL.
  • Europe – Allow for 3 – 10 days for Standard or express service with DHL or UPS.
  • Worldwide – Expect delivery within 10 to 14 days.
  • Express services can often be comparable to standard service pricing, so we will automatically upgrade to express services in these instances.

PRiCiNG:

UK:

  • Standard Shipping is free
  • Premium Shipping is £75

EU:

  • Standard Shipping is £30
  • Premium Shipping is £125

iNTERNATiONAL:

  • Standard Shipping is £65
  • Premium Shipping is £175

As per international trading laws - the receiver will be responsible for all duties and taxes due on delivery.

FREE iNTERNATiONAL:

Additional to the above we offer a the standard shipping shipping option free of charge for subscribers to our mailing list.  The buyer will be entirely responsible for tracking and insuring the works. 

PACKAGiNG:

We respect our only planet and while we can’t avoid using packaging, we do prioritise recycling and reusing it wherever possible.  This means that the outer packaging might have signs of previous use.

If customers are willing to return any packaging to us by hand at the gallery, we would be more than happy to re-use it again.
