Through bright and dynamic abstraction, painter Imogen Webb, uses expressive mark-making and layering to create a strong sense of movement across the surface. Her work is a celebration of vivid colour, energy, and the natural world. She experiments with her mediums, working with acrylic on canvas, ink, oil stick, pencil and spray paint to build structure and detail. Inspired by the theatre of nature, from the intricate textures of crinkled moss and the shifting colours of an autumn leaf to sweeping landscapes and dramatic weather systems, Imogen seeks to translate this sense of wonder and uplift into captivating, joyful paintings.
